The William Rakita Award

This award was instituted by the coaching staff in memory of William Rakita. Bill was a teacher and coach at EHS whose untimely death saddened those who knew him. “Rack� was a mathematics instructor and a defensive backfield coach who exemplified what Ewing High School football players should strive to accomplish: hard work, trustworthiness, honesty, and dedication. The Rakita Award is presented to a deserving senior or seniors at the Blue Devil Football Banquet.
